Man stabbed - Kingsford

Police are investigating a stabbing in Sydney’s eastern suburbs this morning.

About 6.30am (Thursday 20 April 2017) emergency services were called to a unit block on Barker Street, Kingsford, following reports of a man had been stabbed.

Upon arrival, police found a man aged in his 30s, with a number of stab wounds to his head and back.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene, before he was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where he remains in a serious condition. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

Officers from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
