Police appeal after armed robbery - Ryde

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Ryde this morning.

Just after 2am (Tuesday 18 April 2017), two unknown men entered a licensed premises on Blaxland Road, Ryde.

Police have been told the men were armed with firearms and threatened staff, before fleeing with a sum of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

Officers from Ryde Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.

A crime scene was established which was examined by specialist forensic officers.
