Man arrested after ambulance damaged - Sydney's south-west

A man has been arrested after allegedly damaging an ambulance in Sydney's south-west this morning.

Just after 12.30am (Sunday 16 April 2017), police were called to assist NSW Ambulance paramedics on Pinnacle Street at Sadlier.

Police have been told paramedics were treating a 17-year-old boy when a 29-year-old man became aggressive towards them, allegedly punching and smashing a window of the ambulance.

Officers from Green Valley Local Area Command attended the scene and arrested the man.

He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station and where he is assisting police with their investigations.
