Man charged over telecommunication offences - Brisbane LAC

A man will appear in court today after alleged telecommunication offences within the Brisbane Water Local Area Command.
Between 10pm (Wednesday 12 April 2017) and 2am (Thursday 13 April 2017) a 30-year-old man allegedly rang Gosford, Toukley and The Entrance Police Station after allegedly making in excess of 100 Triple zero (000) calls.
About 2am (Thursday 13 April 2017) police attended a home on The Entrance Road, The Entrance, and arrested a 30-year-old man.
He was taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with use carriage service to threaten to kill x 2, use carriage service to threaten serious harm x 2, use carriage service to menace/harass/offend, destroy or damage property, and resist officer in execution of duty.
He was refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court today (Thursday 13 April 2017).
