Investigations underway after man stabbed - Parramatta

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Sydney’s west.
Just before 9.30pm today (Wednesday 12 April 2017), emergency services were called to Ollie Webb Reserve on Pitt Street, Parramatta, following reports a man had been stabbed.
Upon arrival, police located a 26-year-old man with stab wounds to his arm and leg.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Officers attached to Parramatta Local Area Command initiated a search of the area and commenced an investigation.
Inquiries are continuing and police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who might have information to contact Parramatta Police Station via Crime Stoppers.
