Man sought after woman injured in Turella

Police are re-appealing to locate a man who might be able to assist with inquiries after a woman was stabbed at Turrella last week.

Emergency services were called to a premises on Cook Street, Turrella just after midnight (Friday 7 April 2017) following reports of a concern for welfare.

A woman was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital suffering stab wounds.

Officers from St George Local Area Command are investigating the incident.

Police believe the man may have links to Tamworth, Muswellbrook and Port Stephens.

The man depicted is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175-180cm tall, fair complexion, with brown hair and blue eyes.
