Police investigate after child approach near Campsie

Police are seeking public assistance after an incident near Campsie last week.
About 1pm on Sunday 2 April 2017, two children aged six and seven, were playing on Kentucky Road, Riverwood, about 7km from Campsie, when an unknown man approached them.
The unknown man engaged in conversation with the children before walking with them to a local grocery shop where they purchased several items.
The man and the children went back to a home on Washington Avenue, Riverwood.
A short time later, the man and children returned to Kentucky Road, Riverwood, before the man left on foot.
Officers attached to Campsie Local Area Command commenced inquiries and would like to speak to a man that may be able to assist their investigations.
He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, 175cm tall with short black hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark coloured jumper and dark shorts.
