Police investigate Sydney City assault

Police are investigating an assault in Sydney City overnight.

About 3am (Saturday 8 April 2017), a 34-year-old man was on Hunter Street, Sydney, when he was allegedly approached by three unknown men.

Police have been told the men allegedly kicked the 34-year-old to the head and body, before fleeing towards George Street.

A passer-by noticed the injured man and notified emergency services.

Officers attached to Sydney City Local Area Command attended and launched an investigation into the incident.
