Inquiries continue following crash - Breakfast Point

Police are appealing for information after a car hit a pole and the driver ran from the scene at Breakfast Point last night.

Just before 11pm (Friday 7 April 2017), officers from Burwood Local Area Command were called to Tennyson Road following reports an Audi sedan was being driven along the road when it hit a pole, causing powerlines to fall on the road.

Witnesses have told police the driver of the Audi ran into a second car which drove from the scene.

Police commenced inquiries; however, the driver and the second vehicle have not been located.
