Police appeal for information following robbery in Morisset

Police have released CCTV images from a robbery in Morisset last month.

Police were called to a fast food restaurant on Macquarie Street, Morisset about 9.30pm on Sunday 19 March 2017, following reports of a robbery.

Police have been told that a man entered the restaurant and threatened the store manager, before stealing a sum of cash and leaving.

Officers from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command attended and launched an investigation into the matter.

As a part of inquiries, officers would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with the investigation.

The man is described as aged between 18 and 22, being of Caucasian appearance, about 185cm tall, , and was wearing a black zip-up hoodie, grey t-shirt, red cap and light-purple shorts.
