Stolen firearm - West Tamworth

Police from Oxley Local Area Command are appealing for public assistance to locate a firearm stolen during a break-in at a home in West Tamworth this week.

Officers have been told someone has accessed the shed of the property on Tingira Street, between 9pm on Monday 3 April 2017 and 7.30am on Tuesday 4 April 2017 and taken a B.S.A Meteor .177 calibre air-rifle.

Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone with information about the break-in, or the whereabouts of the firearm, to come forward.
