Police investigate shooting - Yennora

Police are investigating a public place shooting in Sydney’s west.

About 9.45pm yesterday (Wednesday 5 April 2017), police were called to Orchardleigh Street, Yennora, after reports of shots fired.

Police from Fairfield Local Area Command attended and located and numerous casings on the roadway.

A canvass has been conducted, but no injured persons or property damage has been located at this stage.

A crime scene was established which is being examined by forensic specialists.

It is unclear whether the shots were fired from a vehicle.
