Police have charged a man after he allegedly rammed two 4WDs on the Central Coast this morning, while his young daughter was in the vehicle with him.

Police from Brisbane Water Local Area Command were called to Joyce Avenue, Wyoming, about 7.30am (Wednesday 5 April 2017), responding to reports of vehicles being damaged.

When police arrived they discovered two 4WDs which had extensive damage after allegedly being rammed, the tyres punctured and tail lights smashed.

Patrols began to find a man police believed could assist with their inquiries, when about 11am police were told the man had returned to Joyce Avenue and was driving into other vehicles.

About 11.15am police saw a green Pajero being driven along Day Street and stopped it in a fast food restaurant car park.

A 44-year-old driver was arrested and a distressed four-year-old girl was found unrestrained in the vehicle.

Police also seized synthetic cannabis from the 4WD.

The driver was taken to Gosford Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing before being taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with:

• Malicious damage

• Breach AVO

• Possess prohibited drug, and

• Drive with child not restrained.

The man, from Wyoming, was refused bail and will appear in Gosford Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 6 April 2017).
