Witnesses sought to fatal crash - Tamworth

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward as investigations continue into a fatal crash in Tamworth last week.

Emergency services were called to the Oxley Highway about 3.15pm on Friday 31 March 2017, after a Ford Falcon and a Toyota Kluger collided.

The driver of the Ford, a 30-year-old man, died at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota, a 44-year-old woman; and her two passengers, a 19-year-old woman and a 54-year-old male passenger, were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

All three were taken to Tamworth Hospital for treatment.

Crash Investigation Unit officers established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As those inquiries continue, police believe there are witnesses who have not yet come forward and spoken to police. Some of those witnesses are also believed to have dash cam footage which could assist investigators.
