Police appeal for information after robbery - Shellharbour

Police are appealing for public assistance after a robbery in Shellharbour yesterday.

Just after 10pm (Sunday 26 February 2017), police were called to a restaurant on College Avenue, following reports of a robbery.

Police have been told that a man entered the store and demanded cash from a staff member.

The man fled on foot south on College Avenue with a sum of cash.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command attended and commenced investigations.

The man is described as being of a large build and was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants and had his face covered.
