Cyclist and bus collision - Lewisham

Police are investigating after a cyclist was injured in a collision at Lewisham today.
About 12.45pm (Sunday 26 February 2017), emergency services were called to Parramatta Road, after a cyclist and a bus collided.
Police have been told the cyclist, a 44-year-old man, was exiting a service station when he collided with a bus.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the bus, a 49-year-old man, and 15 occupants were not injured.
The driver was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
The passengers were transferred to another bus.
Officers from Marrickville Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.
