Two people injured during affray - Glebe

Police have arrested four people after two men were injured following an alleged brawl in Sydney’s Inner West.

About 11pm, yesterday (Saturday 25 February 2017), police were called to a licensed premises on Cowper Street, Glebe, following reports of four people were fighting.

Police have been told two male staff members were attempting to speak to the group which resulted in a verbal altercation.

Shortly after, a physical altercation took place and the staff members were allegedly assaulted by three men and a woman.

The two staff members were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for minor injuries.

Officers attached to Leichhardt Local Area Command attended the location and commenced inquiries.

The three men and the women were arrested and taken to Newtown Police Station where they are currently assisting police with their inquiries.
