Child hit by car - Hoxton Park

Police are investigating a crash after a child was struck by a car in Hoxton Park last night.
Shortly after 7pm (Wednesday 22 February 2017), emergency services were called to Tamworth Crescent, Hoxton Park, after reports a child had been hit by a car.
Initial inquiries suggest the boy, aged 6, was crossing the road when he was struck.
The 30-year-old male driver of the Holden Astra was not injured.
The boy was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Officers from Green Valley Local Area Command attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Inquiries are continuing.
