Single-vehicle crash - Sans Souci

Shortly before 11pm (Wednesday 22 February 2017) police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Rocky Point Road and Wellington Street, Sans Souci, following reports of a vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into a pole.

The 19-year-old driver was trapped in the vehicle for a short amount of time. After being assisted out of the vehicle, he was taken by NSW Ambulance Paramedics to St George Hospital with non-life threatening injuries where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers from St George Local Area Command attended and commenced investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Traffic diversions are currently in place.
