Fatal crash - Singleton

Police are investigating following a fatal crash in the state’s north-west.

Just before 9.30am today (Saturday 1 April 2017), emergency services were called to Putty Road, Howes Valley, (45km south of Singleton) following reports a motorcycle had crashed.

A man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but he died at the scene.

Officers attached to Hunter Valley Local Area Command with assistance from Crash Investigation Unit established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and police are urging any witnesses to contact police via Crime Stoppers.
