Police investigate after man shot - Miller

Police are investigating after a man was shot in Miller yesterday.

Emergency services were called about 10pm (Friday 31 March 2017), to Lady Woodward Park, between Shropshire Street and Woodward Avenue, Miller, following reports a man had been shot.

Officers from Green Valley Local Area Command attended and found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his thigh.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Liverpool Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A crime scene was established, which will be forensically examined.

Investigations are continuing.
