Man dies while assisting a broken down car in Cecil Hills

A man has died while assisting a broken down car in Cecil Hills.
Emergency services were called to Marina Close, Cecil Hills, about 11.20am yesterday (Wednesday 29 March 2017), following reports that a man was suffering medical issues.
Police have been told that a man was assisting a woman whose car had broken down in the middle of the road.
As the man was helping push the car off the road, he fell to the ground and the vehicle ran over him, resulting in the man suffering a suspected cardiac arrest.
The 82-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics however, died at the scene.
Officers from Green Valley Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
A report outlining the circumstance of the man’s death will be prepared for the coroner.
