Update: Critical Incident - South Bathurst

A man has died in hospital following a police pursuit at South Bathurst today.

A critical incident investigation has been launched after two men were injured after a police pursuit.

Just after 1pm (Wednesday 29 March 2017), a stolen Hyundai SUV crashed following a pursuit with police.

Two men, aged 35 and 33, suffered serious injuries and were taken by NSW Ambulance paramedics to Bathurst Hospital.

A 35-year-old man later died in hospital.

A critical incident team from Lachlan Local Area Command is investigating all circumstances surrounding the incident including the pursuit.

That investigation will be subject to independent review.
