NSW Police recognised as 'White Ribbon Workplace' to help stop violence against women

NSW Police will address the media this morning regarding the ‘White Ribbon Workplace’ program; a comprehensive accreditation process it’s undertaken that aims to help stop violence against women.
The internationally recognised program – which requires organisations be assessed against 15 criteria – has seen 106 Australian employers achieve accreditation to therefore communicate with more than 600,000 Australians via their workplace.
Criteria include effective leadership, resource allocation, communication, human resources policy development, and training programs that foster a safer and more respectful workplace.
