Police appeal for information after indecent assault on train - Southern Sydney

Police are appealing for information after a teenager was indecently assaulted on a train yesterday.

Police have been told just after 4pm (Saturday 25 March 2017), a 17-year-old boy was travelling on a train between Cronulla and Como when a man sat next to him.

The man began talking to the boy before indecently assaulting him.

The boy has exited the train and contacted police.

Officers from the Police Transport Command are investigating the incident.

Police wish to speak to a man who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being in his late 30s and Asian in appearance. He is 170cm tall with a slim build. At the time of the incident he was seen wearing a black/light brown baseball cap, black top, grey pants and white sneakers.
