Police seek man after hotel room booby trapped - Bondi

Police are searching for a man after a hotel room was booby trapped in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
About 3pm on Wednesday 22 March 2017, emergency services were called to a hotel room on Campbell Street, Bondi, following reports of a fire.
Once at the location, the fire was extinguished and it was discovered the room had been booby trapped.
No one was injured and the room was made safe.
Officers from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command commenced investigations into the incident and would like to speak to a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The man, who is named as 27-year-old Thomas Hunt is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175-180cm tall with a thin build. He has blue eyes and a shaved head. He is also described as having a chipped front tooth.
Police hold concerns for the welfare of Mr Hunt and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
