Three men stabbed inside a gym - Brookvale

Police from Northern Beaches are investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing of three men inside a gym at Brookvale tonight.

Shortly after 8pm (Monday 20 March 2017) a man entered a gym on Pittwater Road.

When inside the premises the man appeared agitated and aggressive.

He approached four men and a trainer and punched one of the men before producing a knife and stabbing three of the men. The trainer managed to escape injury.

The armed man ran outside the gym and got into a confirmed stolen vehicle and drove away.

The three injured men were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital where one was taken straight in for surgery. The other two men remain stable.

A crime scene was established at the gym and detectives from Northern Beaches are conducting inquiries.

As he is believed to be armed with a knife police are urging members of the public not to approach him but to call triple zero immediately.
