Police appeal following aggravated break and enter - West Tamworth

Police are appealing for public assistance following an aggravated break and enter at West Tamworth yesterday.

Officers from Oxley Local Area Command were called to a unit on Gipps Street around 6am (Saturday 18 March 2017), after a 96-year-old man woke to find another man in his bedroom.

The man demanded cash and stole a wallet and keys before leaving the unit.

A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic officers.
