Investigations underway after teen assaulted - Moss Vale

Police are seeking assistance after a teen was assaulted at Moss Vale yesterday.

About 9pm on Saturday 18 March 2017, a 17-year-old teen was waiting outside the Moss Vale showgrounds when he was approached by three unknown males who demanded property from him.

The teen refused and was assaulted by the three males who then left the scene.

The teen returned home and sought medical attention at Bowral Hospital the following day.

He was diagnosed with a fractured spleen and transferred to Liverpool Hospital for further assessment.

Police from The Hume Local Area Command are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
