Man stabbed - Arncliffe

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed at Arncliffe today.

Just before 12pm (Sunday 19 March 2017), emergency services were called to Stewart Street following reports of a stabbing.

A man in his 20s was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a chest wound. He was taken to St George Hospital in a serious condition.

Police from St George Local Area Command have commenced inquiries into the incident and a crime scene has been established.

Officers are also asking for any witnesses to an earlier incident involving a group of men at Wollongong Road to come forward.
