Man hospitalised after assault - Dubbo

Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Dubbo yesterday.
About 5.20pm (Friday 17 March 2017), a man was working at a golf range on Fitzroy Street, when he was approached and assaulted by a group of men and women.
The group fled the area and police were called.
Officers from Dubbo Local Area Command attended the location and established a crime scene.
A 68-year-old man was taken to Dubbo Base Hospital for treatment of serious head injuries. He remains in a stable condition.
Officers continue to investigate the incident and would like to speak to four people who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
The two men and two women are described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance.
The group may be travelling in a silver-coloured vehicle.
