Man arrested following crash - Mt Colah

Police are urging all road users to slow down and re-think travel plans north of Sydney following a two-vehicle crash at Mount Colah this afternoon.
The crash follows a truck rollover nearby on the M1 this afternoon, causing significant traffic delays.
About 2.20pm (Thursday 16 march 2017), emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway Mt Colah, near the intersection of Excelsior Road, following reports of a crash.
Initial investigations suggest a Ford Sedan and a Toyota sedan crashed at the intersection.
The passenger of the Ford, a man believed to be aged in his 30s, was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford was arrested after allegedly providing a positive breath test at the scene. He was taken to Hornsby Police Station where he is assisting with inquiries.
The driver of the Toyota, also a man, suffered minor injuries.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing.
