Police are renewing their appeal for information about a man wanted on several outstanding warrants after he was spotted in Sydney’s south today.

Husseim Dennaoui, 25, is wanted by virtue of warrants relating to a number of serious assault offences across Sydney along with breach of his parole.

Officers from St George Local Area Command attended Derwent Street, South Hurstville, about midday (Wednesday 15 March 2017) following information Mr Dennaoui was in the area, but he ran from police.

Police conducted an extensive search of the local area but at this stage Mr Dennaoui has not been located.

Anyone who sees Mr Dennaoui or knows his current whereabouts is urged not to approach him, but contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.

Mr Dennaoui is believed to frequent the Sydney CBD and Kogarah areas.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, 180-185cm tall, with a medium build with black hair, brown eyes and a beard.
