Investigations continue after pedestrian dies - Canley Heights

Police are continuing investigations after a pedestrian died this morning after he was struck by a vehicle in Sydney’s south-west yesterday.
Shortly before 8am (Sunday 12 March 2017), emergency services were called to Peel Street, Canley Heights, after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
The 55-year-old man sustained head and arm injuries. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital where he later died.
A 65-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy in the Honda CRV were uninjured, with the female driver taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit attended and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
