Man injured in brawl - Parramatta

Police are appealing for public assistance after a man was injured during a brawl at licensed premises in western Sydney this morning.

Emergency services were called to the business on Church Street, Parramatta, about 4.45am (Sunday 12 March 2017), following reports of an altercation between two groups of men.

Upon arrival, police located a 28-year-old man with facial injuries and lacerations to his torso.

He has been taken to Westmead Hospital where he is believed to be in a stable condition.

A crime scene was established and police have spoken to a number of witnesses.

Police have been told a number of men described as being of Asian appearance and aged between 25 and 30 left the premises soon after the incident

They are still seeking information from the public and urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
