Man charged with murder - Glenwood

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman at Glenwood today in a domestic dispute.

About 4.15pm yesterday (Tuesday 7 March 2017), emergency services were called to a home on Glenwood Park Drive, Glenwood following a report of concern for welfare.

Officers from Quakers Hill Local Area Command attended and found the body of a 56-year-old woman.

Police established a crime scene at the location which was examined by forensic experts.

Shortly after 6pm police located and arrested a man without incident at a Kings Langley shopping centre.

The man’s car was also seized for further examination.

A 57-year-old man was taken to Riverstone Police Station and later charged with murder

The man was refused bail and is expected to appear at Blacktown Local Court later today (Wednesday 8 March 2017).
