Police charge two with drug supply - Redfern RES

Police have charged two men with drug supply following a vehicle search and a search warrant today in south Sydney.
In February 2016, officers from Redfern Regional Enforcement Squad (RES) launched Strike Force Dilke to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs within the central metropolitan region of Sydney.
As a part of an extensive investigation, about 4.40pm today (Tuesday 7 March 2017), officers stopped a Mazda utility on Innesdale Road, Wolli Creek.
Officers search the vehicle an allegedly located one kilogram of MDMA, 73 grams of cocaine, 2.5 grams of cannabis and a sum of cash.
The 27-year-old occupant of the vehicle was arrested and taken to St George Police Station.
He was charged with supply prohibited drug, large commercial qty, supply drug x 2 (Indictable Qty), possess drug and deal in proceeds of crime.
The man was refused and will appear before Sutherland Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 8 March 2017)
About 5pm, officers executed a search warrant at a home on August St, Condell Park.
During this search warrant, police allegedly located 461 grams of MDMA, 5.1 grams of Cocaine and a sum of cash.
Officers arrested a 27-year-old man at the house and he was taken to Bankstown Police Station.
He was charged with supply prohibited drug large commercial qty, supply drug (Indictable Qty), possess drug and deal in proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail and will appear before Bankstown Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 8 March 2017)
