Man stabbed - Claymore

A man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a man in Claymore today.

About 3.45pm (Tuesday 7 March 2017), emergency services were called to a home on Norman Crescent, Claymore, following reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, police found a 26-year-old man with a stab wound to his abdomen.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene, before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

About 4.30pm, police arrested a 49-year-old man at Claymore.

Police have been told the men were known to each other.

He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station and is assisting police with inquiries.
