Man dies when quad bike rolls - Sofala

A man has died after the quad bike he was riding rolled on a property in the state’s Central West overnight.

The man left his home on the bike about 7.15pm (Sunday 5 March 2017), and when he failed to return after an hour a friend went looking for him.

The missing man was found a short time later trapped under the quad bike in a creek bed with serious head injuries; he died at the scene.

Police from Mudgee Local Area Command are investigating.
