Man charged following two vehicle crash - Brooklyn

A man will face court later this week following a collision between a car and motorbike north of Sydney.
About 9.30am yesterday (Sunday 5 March 2017), emergency services were called to Old Pacific Highway, Brooklyn, 51km north of Sydney, following reports a Toyota Corolla and a motorbike had collided.
As a result of the collision the rider, a 50-year-old man, was thrown from his motorbike.
The man was treated at scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics. He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for fractures to his wrists, ankle and a possible fracture to his elbow.
The driver of the Toyota Corolla, a 27-year-old man, was not injured.
Officers attached to Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
The 27-year-old man was arrested and taken to Hornsby Police Station where he was charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, and not keep left of dividing lane.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Hornsby Local Court on Wednesday 8 March 2017.
