Three charged after assault - Cremorne

Three people have been charged following an alleged assault on Sydney’s North Shore early this morning.

Just before 2.30am (Sunday 5 March 2017), emergency services were called to a fast food restaurant on Military Road, Cremorne, following reports of an altercation.

Police will allege a 22-year-old woman approached a group of three men and assaulted one of them, aged 25.

It’s alleged the man went to speak to the woman when an altercation broke out and he was assaulted by two other men, who were with the woman.

Two men – aged 24 and 25 – were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for facial injuries.

The older man was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for further treatment.


Officers from Harbourside Local Area Command attended and arrested two men, both aged 27, and a 22-year-old woman.

One of the men and the woman were taken to North Sydney Police Station where the woman was charged with affray, common assault, and behave in offensive manner in/near public place.

The man was charged with affray, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and common assault.

They were both granted conditional bail to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on Friday 31 March 2017.

The second man was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital; however, he was released and charged with affray, two counts of common assault, and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on Friday 10 March 2017.
