Police investigate shooting - Parramatta

A crime scene has been established after a man was shot in Parramatta.

About 11.10pm (Friday 3 March 2017), police were called to Bobart Street, Parramatta, near the intersection with King Street, after multiple gun shots were heard.

Officers from Parramatta Local Area Command attended and located several casings on the road.

A crime scene was established.

A short time later, police were notified that a 20-year-old man presented to Westmead Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

He is understood to be in a stable condition.

Inquiries are continuing into the incident. No arrests have yet been made.
