Cocaine, cash, and cannabis charges - Bankstown

A man will face court today after he was allegedly caught with cocaine, cash, and cannabis at Bankstown yesterday afternoon.

Shortly before 5pm (Thursday 2 March 2017), officers from the Police Transport Command were patrolling near Bankstown Railway Station when they attended a public toilet following reports of suspicious activity.

Following investigations, officers searched a 20-year-old man and found drugs alleged to be cocaine and cannabis, and a sum of money in a bag.

The items were seized and will undergo forensic examinations.

The man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug (x2), possess prohibited drug (x2), and goods in custody.

He was refused bail and is due to appear at Bankstown Local Court today (Friday 3 March 2017).
