Ten firearms stolen - Glen Innes

Ten firearms and a bird have been stolen during a break and enter at Glen Innes.

Between 4am and 7am yesterday (Thursday 2 March 2017), unknown person/s broke into a home on Lambeth Street and stole ten firearms, including:

- 3 x BRNO .22 calibre rifles

- 1 x Lithgow .22 calibre rifle

- 1 x Sportsman .22 calibre rifle

- 1 x Winchester .22 calibre rifle

- 1 x Miroku .22 calibre rifle

- 1 x .177 AIR rifle

- 1 x 32-20 Savage rifle

- 1 x .410 Boito shotgun

Also stolen during the break-in was a three-year-old purple crested lorikeet, two padlocks, a chainsaw, mobile phone and a drill.

Police from New England Local Area Command are conducting inquires into the incident.
