Man shot - Glenfield

Police are investigating a shooting in Sydney’s south west.
Just before 10pm (Thursday 2 March 2017), police were called to Janus Street, Glenfield, after reports of multiple gunshots.
Attending police located a 36-year-old male in the street with a gunshot wound. A number of casings were also located at the scene.
He has been taken to hospital by ambulance in a stable condition to undergo surgery.
A crime scene has been established which will be examined by forensic specialists.
Police from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command are continuing with inquiries into the incident, with a number of witnesses assisting police.
Two motorcycles were reportedly seen leaving the scene of the shooting.
