Child approach - Wagga Wagga

Police are investigating after a child was approached in the state’s Riverina region.
Just after 4pm yesterday (Wednesday 1 March 2017), a 10-year-old girl got off a bus at the intersection of Urana Street and Trevor Street, Turvey Park, when she was approached by a man.
Police have been told the man allegedly approached the girl, asking her a question, before grabbing her by the arm. The girl was able to break free and run away.
Officers attached to Wagga Wagga Local Area Command were contacted and have commenced an investigation into the incident.
Police would like to speak to a man who might be able to assist with their inquiries. The man is described to police as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 30-40 years old, about 170cm tall, and medium build.
He was last seen wearing a purple, white and black polo shirt, with a distinctive logo and a lighting strike on the front, a baseball cap and white joggers.
Police are urging anyone who was in the area, or who may have seen anything to contact Wagga Wagga Police Station via Crime Stoppers.
