Woman dies after Chatswood crash

A woman has died after she was struck by a car at Chatswood last week.
Just before 8.30am on Friday 24 February 2017, a Toyota sedan was travelling on Victoria Avenue when it left the road and struck a pram then a woman walking along the footpath.
The vehicle then hit a pole and rolled onto its side.
Emergency services were called to the scene, where they found a 31-year-old woman with serious head injuries. She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
The 67-year-old man driving the sedan was treated for minor injuries and has undergone mandatory blood and urine testing.
Police have now been advised the woman died in hospital yesterday (Wednesday 1 March 2017).
Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit continue to investigate the crash.
