Shooting - Chester Hill

Police have established a crime scene after a shooting in Sydney’s south-west that has left one man with head and hand injuries.

Emergency services were called to Priam Street, Chester Hill, about 8.10pm (Wednesday 1 March 2017) after reports a number of shots had been fired into a car parked in the driveway of a home.

A 39-year-old man inside the car suffered head and hand injuries but managed to exit the vehicle and go into the home.

He has since been taken to hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

Officers from Bankstown Local Area Command are investigating.

Police continue to examine a crime scene at the property and are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
