Man stabbed - Bidwill

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Sydney’s west last night.

Emergency services were called to a home on Cupania Crescent, Bidwill, following reports that a man had been stabbed shortly before 10pm (Tuesday 28 February 2017).

Officers from Mount Druitt Local Area Command attended and located a 21-year-old man with numerous stab wounds to his body.

Initial inquiries suggest the man was injured following an altercation with another male.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A crime scene has been established and it will be examined by forensic officers.
